The Eathrace is a enviromentally friendly boat that went around the word in 60 days, 23 hours and 49 minutes. The Earthrace is eco-friendly and here are the eco-features:
- Earthrace uses only sustainable biodiesel
- Some of the Earthrace is made from hemp
- the Earthrace has a non-toxic anti-foul
- Mattresses are made from vegetable and canola oils
- Water is pumped to remove any chemicals
- Ice-cream containers were used in the construction of the Earthrace
- The crew fed on only organic and local food sources
- The waste from the crew was all recycled
- The crew's clothing were made from hemp and bamboo
I went and saw the Earthrace with my mum and brother and we got to go inside and it was absolutely amazing.
